Package Details

Your journey begins in Delhi, from where you will be driven to Haridwar. The distance between Delhi and Haridwar is approximately 210 kilometers, which takes around 4-5 hours by road. Upon reaching Haridwar, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can visit the famous Har Ki Pauri ghat in the evening to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Haridwar to Barkot. The distance between Haridwar and Barkot is approximately 190 kilometers and takes around 7-8 hours by road. Barkot is a serene town located on the banks of the Yamuna River and serves as the gateway to Yamunotri. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for the day. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Today, you will proceed to Yamunotri, the first destination of your Char Dham Yatra. After a 42-kilometer drive from Barkot to Janki Chatti, you will start a 6-kilometer trek to reach Yamunotri, the abode of Goddess Yamuna. Take a holy dip in the Yamuna River and offer prayers at the Yamunotri Temple. Afterward, trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot for an overnight stay.

Leave Barkot and proceed towards Uttarkashi, a town situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. The distance between Barkot and Uttarkashi is approximately 100 kilometers, which takes around 4-5 hours by road. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can visit the famous Vishwanath Temple and explore the local markets. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

After an early breakfast, drive to Gangotri, which is about 100 kilometers away from Uttarkashi. Gangotri is the origin of the River Ganges and home to the sacred Gangotri Temple. Visit the temple, take a holy dip in the Ganges, and witness the stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Later, drive back to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

On this day, you will proceed from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi, located at a distance of approximately 235 kilometers. The journey takes around 8-9 hours by road. Guptkashi is a significant stop on the Char Dham Yatra, known for its ancient temples and spiritual significance. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for the day. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

After an early breakfast, drive to Gaurikund, which is about 30 kilometers away from Guptkashi. From Gaurikund, start a 19-kilometer trek to reach Kedarnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and a revered pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva. After darshan at the Kedarnath Temple, trek back to Gaurikund and drive back to Guptkashi for an overnight stay.

Today, you will proceed from Guptkashi to Badrinath, covering a distance of approximately 210 kilometers. En route, visit Joshimath, a sacred town known for its temples and as the winter seat of Badrinath. Explore the famous Narsingh Temple and Adi Shankaracharya Math in Joshimath. Continue your journey to Badrinath, one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for Hindus. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund. Visit the Badrinath Temple and other attractions in the vicinity. Overnight stay in Badrinath.

After breakfast, leave Badrinath and proceed towards Rudraprayag, located at a distance of approximately 160 kilometers. Rudraprayag is a picturesque town situated at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the town and enjoy the serene surroundings. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.

After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar, covering a distance of approximately 160 kilometers. Upon reaching Haridwar, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can visit the local markets and indulge in some shopping. In the evening, witness the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

On the last day of your Char Dham Yatra, drive back to Delhi, which is approximately 210 kilometers away. Upon reaching Delhi, you will be dropped off at the airport or railway station for your onward journey. Bid farewell to the holy land of Uttarakhand, carrying divine memories of the Char Dham Yatra.
