Upon your arrival in Haridwar, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to Barkot. The journey takes approximately 7-8 hours by road. Barkot is a serene town located on the banks of the Yamuna River, serving as the starting point for the Yamunotri pilgrimage. Once you reach Barkot, check-in at the hotel and relax for the day.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Barkot to Janki Chatti, which is about 42 kilometers away. From Janki Chatti, you will start a 6-kilometer trek to reach Yamunotri, the abode of Goddess Yamuna. Take a holy dip in the Yamuna River and offer prayers at the Yamunotri Temple. Afterward, trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot for an overnight stay.
On this day, you will proceed from Barkot to Uttarkashi, a town located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. The distance between Barkot and Uttarkashi is approximately 100 kilometers, which takes around 4-5 hours by road. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. After an early breakfast, drive to Gangotri, which is about 100 kilometers away from Uttarkashi. Gangotri is the origin of the River Ganges and home to the sacred Gangotri Temple. Leave Uttarkashi and proceed towards Guptkashi, located at a distance of approximately 200 kilometers. The journey takes around 7-8 hours by road. After an early breakfast, drive to Gaurikund, which is about 30 kilometers away from Guptkashi. From Gaurikund, start a 19-kilometer trek to reach Kedarnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and a revered pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva. After darshan at the Kedarnath Temple, trek back to Gaurikund and drive back to Guptkashi for an overnight stay.
Today, you will proceed from Guptkashi to Badrinath, a distance of approximately 220 kilometers. En route, visit Joshimath, a sacred town known for its temples and as the winter seat of Badrinath. Explore the famous Narsingh Temple and Adi Shankaracharya Math in Joshimath. Continue your journey to Badrinath, one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for Hindus. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund. Visit the Badrinath Temple and other attractions in the vicinity. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
